In March of 1997, the first GameWorks opened in Seattle, Washington. This innovative concept was formulated by top-notch entertainment leaders—Dreamworks SKG/Steven Spielberg, Universal Studios, and Skip Paul, GameWorks Chairman & Co-founder.
GameWorks was acquired by SEGA and the Sega Sammy Group in May 2005, and Sega Entertainment U.S.A., Inc. (SEUI) was formed. SEUI’s focus is on continuous delivery of thrilling excitement through innovative fun, state-of-the-art games, and groundbreaking entertainment.
