This is Paramount’s Kings Island theme park in Mason, Ohio, and it looks absolutely awesome. The place is a flippin’ enormous 364 acres, with more rides than you could shake a stick at… in fact there’s more than enough room for a 1/3 sized Eiffel Tower replica, and about a bajillion-trillion parking spaces. This place is so big that it even has its own built in waterpark, Boomerang Bay.
As for the rides themselves, Kings Island is not only home to the world’s longest wooden rollercoaster, Beast (it’s actually 2,143 metres long) but also to Son of Beast, the world’s tallest, fastest, and only looping wooden rollercoaster. Son of the Beast is 66.4 metres tall, and has a top speed of 78 mph.
Kings Island also formerly known as Paramount's Kings Island is a 364-acre theme park and water park north of Cincinnati. The largest theme and water park in the Midwest, Kings Island has more than 40 thrill rides that include 14 exciting roller coasters. The park can boast of having both the tallest and fastest, Son of Beast and longest, The Beast, wooden roller coasters in the world. Kings Islands' newest thriller, Firehawk, is a steel tracked "flying" roller coaster.

METAL DETECTORS AT PARK ENTRANCES
The safety of our guests and associates is our number one priority. We need your assistance in an effort to make the park entry process as efficient as possible. Here's how you can help:
- Please leave all non-essential purses, backpacks, book bags, fanny packs and other bags and packages at home or locked in the trunk of your car.
- Please understand that ALL vehicles, packages and persons are subject to search upon entry. You will be asked to open purses, backpacks or other bags for inspection upon entry. Please note that food and drinks MAY NOT be brought into the park.
- Weapons of any kind and illegal substances are not permitted on Kings Island property. If these items are found during a search, the items and the individual may be turned over to law enforcement.
DINING
From the delicious tastes of Skyline Chili, LaRosa's Pizza, Graeter's Ice Cream, Montgomery Inn™ Barbecued ribs and chicken, to the classic tastes of the midway's funnel cakes, hot dogs, hamburgers and fresh cut fries—Kings Island offers something for everyone.
PET DAY-CARE FACILITY
Your pet deserves a day at the park. You can keep your pet safe and comfortable at our Pet Day-Care Center for just $20.00 per day! Packages are also available for the entire season starting at just $60 per cage. An attendant is always on duty during operating hours. Limited space is available and is on a first come, first serve basis. Overnight pet stays are not permitted. Only service animals for the visually impaired are allowed in the park. All other animals are not permitted inside the park.
PARKING
Parking is $10.00 per vehicle. Premier parking is available for $15.00 per vehicle. Special parking areas for motorcycles and for guests with disabilities (with proper ID) are also available.
GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES
Detailed brochures describing special accommodations for guests with disabilities are available at Guest Relations along with telecommunications devices (TDD) and assisted listening devices for the shows. Special parking areas are available with proper ID. To request a disability guide, please call 1-800-288-0808.
STROLLERS & WHEELCHAIR RENTAL
Strollers are available for a nominal charge on a first come basis near the front gate. A limited number of manual wheelchairs are also available.
BABY CARE
Our in-park Baby Care Center offers a quiet facility at the entrance to Nickelodeon Universe where parents can feed and change their infants. There are also several diaper change facilities located in restrooms throughout the park.
LOST PARENTS
Youngsters can wait for their misplaced parents at the Baby Care Center located at the entrance of Nickelodeon Universe and Boomerang Bay.
